Do You See A Difference?

There are actually 5 differences in this photo. Can you find them all? A prize will go to the one who finds them all!

Pooh on the walls....

We finally found a spare minute to put up the Winnie the Pooh decals we bought at Home Depot.
The one we really wanted was this huge one of all four characters hugging and looking down (would have been great for just above the crib), but alas, we could not find it.

Therefore, we made do with what we could get our hands on. We think it turned out pretty nice! Tasteful, yet with a bit of playfulness and sophistication.

Another one bites the dust.

*prepare yourselves for a very interesting blog post*

I understand that when you are pregnant, you must gain weight.

I also understand that eventually, you get to a point when certain things don't fit anymore.

However, it still hurt this morning when I tried to put on this pair of pants that used to be BIG on me and I couldn't do them up. And they have a drawstring!!! Crazy!!

So after work today, back to the consignment shop we went to get me another pair of pants. I have two more pairs of pants that probably aren't going to fit that much longer. Also with drawstrings.

Elastic waists are all that I see in my future. Destiny...here I come.

Baby Brain = need a vacation

Yes, I know I mis-spelled the word Nursery in the title of my last log post. I'm also forgetting things, dropping things and accidentally sending emails to my boss instead of my husband (ok, it only happened once, but it NEVER happened before.....and for the record, it wasn't anything bad. I didn't sign off with 'love you, Helen'!).

In 2 weeks J and I...and little Juanita (our project name)...leave for a vacation to New Brunswick to visit his family. I guess you could call this our baby-moon, the last vacation before the baby comes.

I can already feel that the added pregnancy weight is a bit of an issue. We went to the cottage this past weekend for an annual family reunion (something else we were so excited for!!!) and going up the hill from the sleep cabin to the main cottage was a bit of a struggle. I will try to convince my parents to put in a cable car...so I can't imagine travelling later on in my third trimester!

Other than looking forward to various vacations (minor or major), we've been working on getting the house together for when Juanita comes. Rearranging, painting, repairing...this is the time to do it!

Expect an update on the baby-moon!
