For our wedding last year, it was so hard for us to register for gifts because we already lived together and didn't really need any 'stuff'. This time around, it was a lot easier. We don't have a baby yet, so naturally, we don't have any 'stuff' for a baby yet!
We made our way to Babies R Us and sat down at the registry counter. We got one of those 'beep beep' things and they also printed out a list. Now, the list was wayyyyyyy longer than the list we brought (ie, you don't need a toddler car seat right now!), but there were a few things on there that we had forgotten about.
We started in bedding and after 1.5 hours, had woven our way around the store so much that we are now experts at locating things at Babies R Us. Seriously, quiz us, we'll find what you can't!
Get this, at one point, J even said "This is kind of fun!" and I was like "Totally!"
We went a bit crazy with the Winnie the Pooh stuff, but it's so cute and has a good message!!!
So anyways, something that we really weren't looking forward to ended up being a fun adventure.......hopefully Labour will turn out the same?
I love that "Labour" got a capital L.
ReplyDeleteSo exciting! The last few times I went to Babies R Us looking for shower gifts i was SO overwhelmed (once I gave up and walked out with a gift card.) Can't wait to do my shopping adventure for Juanita!
